Will it be difficult to score over a 1000 on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general test?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

I need to score atleast a 1000 on the GRE general test. The math part is not an issue because I am a mathematics major but I was hoping for some insight on the rest of the exam…..

In order to score a 1000 you will have to match the average in both subjects. I would suggest that you work on vocabulary in order to improve your verbal reasoning score. Buy a book similar to Increasing Your Word Power which teaches prefixes and suffixes. Also try to take several timed practice tests to get used to the format and time limit. Good luck!
