Why am I not able to secure a seat for the Master's course inspite of taking the right steps in the last year?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

GRE score 1020/1600 (Analytical 4.5/6.0 Verbal 380/800 Quantitative 640/800) TOEFL Score 277/300
Academics average 54% in Mechnaical engineering undergraduate studies.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 66%
Age 24.
Applied and rejected from –
University of Michgan – Dearborn
Tennesse Technological University
Bradley University – Illinois
Clemson University – South Carolina
Results still pending from -
University of Dayton – Ohio
Wichita State University – Kansas
Texas A & M University at Kingsville
All the univerisities selected were of appropriate grade. I always thought I would get admits from atleast 2 or 3 of the universities selected. Now an acceptance for the coming semester seems a distant dream.

I think you might want to contact the academic advisors office of these Universities, they might be able to provide a more valid opinion.
On the other hand, perhaps your verbal score (380/800) is less than 50%, raises a concern

For the practice round there is a yearly lottery, out of those chosen to receive practice round tickets, those are the people who are thrown into the lottery drawing for the few remaining real game tickets. That is step one to step two. Once a person gets gets the tickets through the lottery drawing to the actual tournament they are held by that party for life, thereby there are very few that ever come available. When a ticket holder dies then the tickets are put into a lottery and available through random drawing to persons holding practice round tickets. These Masters tickets are known to be the most difficult tickets to attain. I have a friend who had multiple people continue yearly to help put names into the drawing, one of his friends got their name pulled after many attempts. They now have life time tickets, if they cannot go, they sell them on-line.
