What is the best way to prepare for the GRE exam?
Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!
Instead of a list of tips about how to prepare, I’ll suggest looking at the revised GRE test coming in August 2011 to help you plan. The revised test is quite different and many of us in admissions are looking forward to seeing it in use. If you have timing flexibility, look carefully at the revised GRE format and decide which you think you will do best at before preparing at all. I recently posted an article about how the revised GRE will affect test takers and include perspectives of the admissions committee that may help you decide which version to take. Plan ahead and you’ll score in balance with your preparation.

In my opinion going through Barron’s GRE prep book should be enough. It is quite comprehensive and a couple of thorough run throughs starting 3 months before you give GRE should be sufficient. However, it will depend on the confidence levels. If you feel that you might need some external help then better go for coaching classes conducted by a reputed institute in your city/area.
i just took it 5 days ago.. and honestly id say just get the barrons book, finish EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM lol… when I mean every single problem i mean including the "review" math questions that seem easy.. i basically digested the whole book (you can do that in 1 week.. if you put ur heart to it) then I went to borders and bought the vocab flashcards… and tried to memorize as much as I could from those. I ended up getting a pretty high score. (still waiting on my writing though)
