What is the best laptop to buy for a college student?
Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!
I really don’t want to go past 500 bucks. My major is pre-med biology. I will mostly use my laptop for office stuff like microsoft word etc. Surfing the web…and of course downloading music and watching dvds. I would also like for the laptop to have a built in webcam but its not that essential….SUGGESTIONS PLZ….if you have a laptop that works really good suggest it.
Dell Inspiron from Best Buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9357956&type=product&id=1218090589731
It has around a 4 hour battery life (I think it’s indicated for up to 5, but my experience is it really lasts for around 4), a 320GB hard drive, 4GB ram, webcam, mic, 14" screen, 5.3lbs, sleek keyboard…Oh, and a free upgrade to Windows 7.
It’s on sale this week for $499 which is an incredible deal. Basically all other laptops with these same specs will run you at least $650!
It’s only available at Best Buy, but if you get it there then you can get the Geek Squad Black Tie Protection which is great…it covers everything from manufacturers defects, to the battery to accidental damage! You can also have the Geek Squad set your computer up so that it runs better. These services add up, but are so definitely worth it…at least the protection plan. With the services you’ll be looking at a bit over $800 total, but again, if you just want the laptop, $500+tax.
