I got an Acer and i can get 2 hours browsing out of it on low power settings but its slower so if your gonna be studying for hours i guess a less powerful one will last longer or size aint a worry you might manage to buy a bigger bulkier battery for one. Heavy gaming doesnt sound to be an interest so nothing powerful would suite you. Try E-machines or Acer they are cheaper brands but as i say they dont make the important stuff they just use it.
