    There are no passing scores or failing scores — there are just scores.

    Different universities use the scores differently — as do different departments within a university. For example, I doubt that anyone in my Finance PhD program at Berkeley got less than a 780 in the Math Section — but suspect that the Verbal scores ranged from 600-800. In liberal arts programs at less selective schools, you may not find any students with a score over 700 in the math portion.

    it depends on the first ranking position…at times,score levels may change between years &the eligibilty scores depend on that..also it depends upon the number of students who have participated

    I had the maths section 420 and the verbal 310 and essay part unknown. Can this afford me a university.
