Contrary to the first answer, most universities will not send you a letter simply confirming that your application file is complete. A few may do so, but not most.
So, if you want to be certain a university has received your GRE scores, you will need to contact the university office to which you directed your application.
By the way, your GRE scores will be available for five years.
They usually will let you know in a standard letter after you’ve sent the complete package (letters, statement of intent, transcripts et cetera.)
