What happens if I miss my GRE test date?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

There was a sudden death in the family and it is too late to reschedule or cancel my test date (it’s saturday). They only let you take the GRE once per month even if you have your scores canceled. But what if I just don’t show up at all? Will i be able to take it next week? I know I would have lost my registration fee and would have to pay to register all over again. But I’m wondering if it would count as my once a month thing. Thanks

terribly sorry about your difficult situation, but sometimes the right answers are a message away, why don’t you send an email and ask your question to GRE office.
