PostHeaderIcon Is it irresponsible to take the GMAT with somewhat limited preparation?

Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

I read GMAT books and did practice questions sporadically over the past 15 months. I entered a GMAT class and learned more quantitative skills. I took the GRE and aced both verbal and math sections.

However, I’m taking the GMAT today on something of a lark, because I’m in the midst of a practice course which is becoming truly useless, because I feel totally saturated with knowledge, and because I just want to get the damn thing over with.

My girlfriend gave me hell, but I think I’m ready, and que sera sera.

What do other people think?

PostHeaderIcon GRE and PRAXIS I?

I am studying to take the GRE at the end of this month. However, I’ve found that most of the GRE study guides only have questions and explanations, but no rules to memorize, which really helps.

A few years ago, I studied to take the Praxis I with a book that really helped me score high. I liked that it broke everything down with rules to memorize such as the area of circles, triangles, etc. as well as basic rules for percentage problems and ratios.

I was wondering if the math sections of the GRE and the PRAXIS I are similar? I wanted to study using the same book, but wasn’t sure if it would help…thanks! :o )
