Should you take a prep course for the police exam?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

I was planning on taking the exam and then I heard a commercial talking about a prep course for the exam. I was just wondering if I should take the prep course or just study on my own. I know the police exam isn’t like the LSAT or GRE so I don’t know if a prep course is totally necessary. Any thoughts?
