Is the GRE Exam going to change anytime soon?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!
I plan on taking it in exactly 1 year-NOV 2009. Is the format or anything about it planning on changing from now until then? Does anyone know? Cause I remember a few years ago there was some talk about some changes to the exam.

Those changes were cancelled.
If you go to the ETS website you can read about any proposed changes and I believe you can sign up for them to e-mail you regarding any changes.
There was some talk about changes in the exam. Last I heard those changes were canceled and I haven’t heard anything about those changes again. They were canceled because they realized they’d need more testing centers in the country to accomodate the new changes since one change was going to be only offering the test once a month.
