Is 2 months long enough to study for the GRE and do well?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

I have an 8 week study guide from the Princeton Review, but some people say you need 6 months! In all reality, am I kidding myself to think I can do well just studying 8 weeks? I study everyday for hours…

Of course, it depends on where you start and how much you work. But you certainly can make progress in eight weeks. I don’t know about the Princeton Review system one way or the other, but I have seen dramatic increases without too much preparation. They are the exception, but they are not unheard of.
If I were you, I would supplement the preparation with regular reading, especially the sort of material that tends to occur on the test. Also, try to work on vocabulary steadily. Learn a set number of words each day and then keep studying those words the next day when you add new ones.
Finally, make sure you understand the test, its format, and its question types. Just understanding all the ins and outs of the test can make a huge difference.
