I would like to buy a laptop for college. I am not an avid gamer but I would like to run at least the basic design software on it without a hitch. I won’t use it for anything other than college work and the internet. What would you guys recommend? I would like it to be as cheap as possible.
If you want a personalized, reliable and quick advice, you should check out ProCompare.com (http://procompare.com/top/notebooks). I recommend the cheapest laptop you can find that is not a Mac.
I would recommend a netbook, since your not a gamer and it is very cheap (approx $300-$400).
Some netbooks i recommend are the Acer Aspire one and the Asus Eee PC. Those are some of the most common ones i see around me campus in college.
go for a dell machine. coz they dont have sales outlet. You have to give them a call for a free delivery.
and dell machines are usually better than sony machines.
I know one best all in one laptop. Currently, I using HP Pavilion dv1170us Notebook. Its work very fine for Softwares, Multimedia Applications, Games & more. I had get my HP Laptop from http://www.mdofpc.com/onlinestore/laptops-under-1000-compaq-c-467_596_601.html in reasonable price.
