Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

I think I need the most help with the math or quantitative section. I plan on using Kaplan GRE in a Box (verbal) to improve my score and to sink in all that vocab. However, math is a different story. I learn math by doing tons of problems but most prep books only have a couple. I took algebra, geometry, and calculus awhile ago and did well but I don’t remember most of it anymore. What SPECIFICALLY is on the GRE quantitative section??? How can I practice several GRE-type problems??? Should I take a quick math course (like a 5 week one)???? HELP!!! I need a score of at LEAST 1100 and scored like 900 on my practice one. Also, would the MAT be better??

You know what would be helpful if you have the money is to take one of those GRE prep classes/workshops. They go over all the questions you ask here. I’d answer your questions but I honestly don’t remember! Look and see if they have a prep course near you, I think Kaplan and Princetone Review do them

There is a knack for taking tests like the GRE. The test is made up of sub-tests that measure types of learning and reasoning. If you took the test without knowing what to expect, you could very well score well below your potential. So, there are books that teach you how to prepare for the types of reasoning called for by the GRE. Be sure and study both the quantitative and the verbal. I took the GRE after college and scored high on the quantitative but mediocre on the verbal. I purchased a GRE study guide and boned up on the verbal section. I retook the exam and felt comfortable about my performance. When the results came back I had scored high on the verbal and mediocre on the quantitative. My advice is to study for both and don’t take either one for granted.
