Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

Details like when to apply 4 it? how to study 4it-any related websites or books? what do we need to concentrate on? & the adequate score that is required. Im currently doing engineering in I.T from Delhi; India & will be going to 2nd year. Also can we apply for an MS course in areas other than software engineering?

This website http://www.ets.org/gre has most of the information u are after. like when to apply. Every uni has a minimum score it sets, so depending on the uni u wanna study at, the score will/might b different. But study hard n give it ur best shot! From experience u Indians (assuming u are one) are very bright.
Also, ur choice of MSc is very wide, u are not limited to only software engineering. Eg, u can choose to do Msc in Business IT, Computer Security or u can even do ur MBA. The sky is basically the limit.
