i am currently preparing for GRE and i use kaplan books and the website.you can purchase the kaplan GRE premier book 2008-2009 edition with cds at ur local barnes and noble(or any bookstore) and u can attend a kaplan class in ur area. u can even register for classes on the internet.it is pricy but you wont find anything better in my opinion.visit http://www.kaptest.com or kaplan.com.
if you need to register for the GRE visit ets.org. i advice you not to register until u have taken classes and you r sure u can sit for the exam at that point
