I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

How many yrs is the GRE general test valid ,if I take the exam on June’07?? I have plans to apply for higher studies in May 2009? When is the right time to take the exam?

    It depends on the College/University that you are applying to attend.

    I had GRE general scores that were very old which were accepted when I got my masters degree. However, there are a number of universities that place stricter time limits (within one or two years) on when the test should be taken.

    So, I would do a little research into the policies of the universities where you may wish to apply… so that you don’t end up having to pay to take it more than once…

    Most programs have a 1-2 year time period during which they consider the test scores valid, but it varies from program to program and from field to field.

    Look at your intended schools for application to see specifics for that program
