How long does it take to prepare for the general GRE exam?
Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!
If I had to guess, I’d say on average a couple months. If you check their website, or The Princeton Review’s, you can do a sample test to see where you stand now. With that, and knowing what score you need, see if you need to work really hard or not at all. I would say you’re better off taking the test once and maybe having to repeat it, than studying like mad until you’re convinced you’ll ace it.
GRE is a test conducted by the United states to test the persons vocabulary. There is no time period to prepare it. just brush up your English well, and dont forget they are not checking your american assent, so be thorogh with high level english grammar
Depends on where you are with your education, especially math. The test covered math I’d taken in ninth grade, and here I was having finished Calc II. I didn’t remember most of the algebra and geometry equations, and didn’t do so well.
The new test I hear doesn’t have logic anymore, but more writing instead. Brush up on English vocabulary (even more than grammar) and how to structure paragraphs, arguments, etc.
I second the suggestion to look online at example tests or get a book from the library. Decide for yourself how much time it will take to become familiar with the material.
