How hard is the GRE? How much time do I need to study for it?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

How hard is the GRE? How much time do I need to study for it?
I have started studying today and if I want to apply for fall/2009 how much time will it take for me to get a good score on it. Is a month enough????

Unless you have a long way to go, two months is probably the ideal amount of study time. If you have less time than that, you can cram in the essentials. If you have more time than that, focus the first bit on building skills like reading for learning vocab, and spending some time building your mental math skills. At around three months you can start into actually preparing for the test itself.
I would also like to know how much to study too. I am taking it next month.
