how early to take the GRE test before grad school admission?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

I will be a senior starting fall, I just decided I want to go to grad school. Will I have to take the GRE this summer to start fall 2010 or can I take it at a later date?

You can take it in fall 2009 as long as you allow time to get your scores before your application deadline. It wouldn’t hurt to schedule to take it this summer, though, just in case you have to miss the exam or retake it for any reason. Also, some test centers are booked for months in advance, so if you haven’t already called to check for available dates, you might want to do that soon, as you might not have much choice left for when to take it.
