Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

I took a practice GRE today and am trying to figure out how to determine my scores ((200 to 800)) based on the percent I got. I know that there is a complex way of scoring the real GRE that involves taking into account the difficulty level of each question, but is there an easy way to get a ballpark idea of how well I did so that I know how much I need to improve before taking the actual GRE?
There does not seem to be scoring instructions in the book that contains the test.

In the real GRE, you get different questions based on how you are doing. This means that if you’re doing well, the questions that the computer gives you will get harder, while if you are doing badly the computer will give you easier questions. It sounds like you are doing a paper GRE which is scored just like the SAT was – each question counts for the same amount, which should be described in the book that the practice GRE came from. There should be a table that matches up the raw score with a scaled GRE score, as each administration had slightly different curves.

If you want to practice a computer based test like the real GRE will be, you can buy a prep book from Barnes and Noble or Amazon.
