The Division of Continuing Education provides lifelong learning opportunities for individuals of all ages who are interested in self-improvement, and contributing to their professional and personal growth. Continuing Education classes, notable for their diversity, are non-degreed and are offered under a variety of formats. Enrollment at the University or previous collegiate background is not necessary.
Certifications for Microsoft, UNIX, Oracle, project management and legal assistant programs are available as are prep courses for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT and SAT. Computer training classes address all skill levels, from basic keyboarding to Web page design to AutoCAD to advanced programming, with some classes taught in Spanish. A wide variety of classes in personal enrichment, such as cake decorating, photography, motorcycle safety, dancing and Hatha yoga, taken purely for the joy of learning something new, are also offered every semester. For corporate clients, customized technical training or professional developmental seminars are available.
Courses are scheduled during weekdays, evenings and weekends for the convenience of the customer. Registration fees vary.
