Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

I’ve taken it this past August and haven’t done so well, I got an 800 from both verbal and quantitative. I felt very disappointed because in my practice tests, I did in the thousands (1200, 1175… ). I was going to take it again in December for Xmas break but I took 20 units for my fall semester, August to December, so I haven’t studied for my GRE at all.

Now I’m debating whether to take a kaplan course or something to help me do better for my retake but I really don’t have the money.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there that tried studying for the GRE with self-prep books and did pretty good (especially the second time around)???

Well I did it the first time without any preparatory courses and just self study and still scored 1520,so my only advice is try to see your weak points and focus on that with all the material you can get.The kaplan or barrons course are no use and only you can determine how good you are
