Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

Hi all, what’s the best GRE review book out there ? planning on taking the GRE this march. Plus, has anyone here ever attended the Powerscore GRE review course and if so, how was it ? Thanks..

The best book is the Practicing to Take the GRE. That has actual test questions in it. When you sign up for the Powerscore course, they send you that book first thing. I took the class last fall and liked it a lot. Much more thorough than I expected and the book was a real help after the class. It’s relatively inexpensive for what they give you.

I think your best bet is to study for 3 or more months. Get Kaplan’s book and CD combo, so you can practice taking tests on the computer. In addition, if you need verbal help, get Barron’s. Princeton Review is alright, too, and teaches you good macro-level tips. I’ve generally heard that classes are a waste of money, unless they are the only thing that can get you motivated to study. If you have trouble with math concepts, consider hiring a private tutor for a couple hours a week.

Buy GRE instructional dvds or take a GRE review course in your local area.
