GRE question, With a score of 720, What are the chances of getting into a Graduate School?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

I took my GRE exam today. My weak side was English and my strong side I thought was Math. Apparently, the grade I got was very Shocking. I got 370 in Math and 350 in English. When I took the exam, Math did not seem hard at all and I was expecting a 450+. My GPA is only 2.7. I know I should re take my GRE, but as of know what are the chances of getting into an ok Graduate School?
Well I know my GPA is low, My first two year of college I really did bad and improved there on. First two year of college, I was not focused and did not care much and it is causing me a lot of hassle. I have been getting mostly B’s And few A’s but my GPA not changing much. My Undergraduate degree is in environmental science and I already work for the Federal Government. I want to do my masters in Geography/GIS, and i already got some certification in GIS.

That depends on the exact program. Were you looking at a master’s or doctorate? In what field?
Honestly, your chances are very poor of getting into a good graduate program. Even if you did very well, the 2.7 GPA will hold you back a lot of places.
Those are very low scores. In fact — for good graduate schools, 450+ is low. To get into the top programs, you would need 1400/1600 or better.
You may be able to get into some graduate program. I hate to tell you this — but you won’t get into a good one. Look for non-selective public universities in your geographical area.
Well, your GPA is the first issue. It is very hard to get into most good graduate schools with a GPA under 3.0, and even that would be a stretch. Your GRE is at about half of what you would need.
I would suggest either
1) Another year of undergraduate work with a lot of credits and mostly A grades, practicing the GRE like crazy, and re-taking it, or
2) Forgetting about graduate school.
I think your situation is that serious. Of course, I don’t know all the details, but it sounds a bit alarming.
There is a college for everyone and though your score is below average you must not lose heart.
