Looking for info on gre preparation classes, gre preparation courses, gre test course and more?

Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

The test guides give contradictory answers. Some say you can use one and others say you cannot. But most of the guides I have found are out of date anyway, The GRE website does not address the issue directly, so I am very confused. Also, when exactly are the breaks scheduled? Is it "free time" or does taking the 10 minute break mean I have 10 minutes deducted from the time allotted for the test?

  • life goes on... says:

No you cant use a calculator during the test.

The break is scheduled between your AWA sections and the start of the remaining sections. You can take a 10 minute break then which will be timed. You would be expected to get back in your seat before the 10 minutes are up and if you come back later, the remaining sections would have started and you would have lost valuable time

    Good luck
