Best GRE study material? and do I have to do the essay question?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot

I heard at FSU that they don’t grade the essay portion of the GRE?? could this be true?

Not sure I really understand your question, but I can answer most of it.
When you take the GRE, you MUST take all parts. That means you have to take the Quatitative, the Verbal and the Agrument/Issue essays.
If what you say is true about FSU, it means they won’t take into consideration your essay when it comes to acceptance. However, you STILL will have to take the essay portion of the exam when you get tested. You cant just walk out and not do it. If you walk out during ANY portion of the exam, the don’t score ANY of it.
Besides, the essay is the FIRST part you do on the GRE. So, you will have to do it no matter what. You can’t walk it late to just do the part you want to… sorry, it just doesn’t work that way.

Tips for getting Good Score in GRE
1) Preparations: Get started as early as possible.
2) Polish your mathematical skills as it will shoot your score easily.
3) Use Flashcards for building vocabulary. Take print outs and just go through when u are free.
4) Solve some sample tests and mark your weaknesses and strongholds.
5) Distribute your preparation time according to your findings after doing some sample tests.
6) Don’t panic while preparation and during tests.
