Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great Gre guide that helped me a lot
So study hard and good luck!

I been studying a lot of different material. GRE, Military Flight Aptitude both Arco and Barron, Arco Officer study guide. I’m not worried about the math portion, but I am about verbal, I been studying for about 1 month now and I been able to memorize about 300 words from all the material I been studying. What are the chances that I will see those words on the test?

Here is the lowdown on the AFOQT verbal section. You will take two section that are both 25 questions and you get 5 minutes for each one. The first section is "Word KNowledge". In that section they will give you a word and four choices. You are to pick the word that means the same thing. The second section is "Analogies". That the whole "puppy is to dog as kitten is to cat". Just studying a list of words will be hard to catch the 25 that are on the test. The best trick is to just read books including the ones in your college classes. You can practice techniques for the analogies section. You can take this test twice in you lifetime and you have to wait six months in between, so be ready before you take it. YOu have to pass the math and verbal portions to commission into th USAF. The pilot/navigator stuff only helps if you want one of those jobs.
