Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his GRE exam.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

are you allowed to bring in paper so you can work out the math questions?

You’re not allowed to bring in anything into the exam room except for yourself. They give you a locker to put your bag and other belongings in while you take the test. They also give you scratch paper and pencils for the exam which you must return after you finish. You can have as much paper or as many pencils as you want. No water bottles or tissues etc are allowed inside. If you bring a jacket or sweater into the testing room you must wear it the whole time or put it back in your locker if you want to take it off.
